Dr. Orland Joshua M. Alimbuyuguen is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and spine specialist currently serving as the Assistant Training Officer for the Department of Orthopaedics at Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital in Ilocos Norte. A Fellow of the Philippine Orthopaedic Association (FPOA) and the Philippine Spine Society (FPSS), he completed extensive subspecialty training through spine fellowships at Tohoku Central Hospital in Japan and the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center. His clinical expertise focuses on advanced spinal interventions, including minimally invasive surgery (MISS), biportal endoscopy, and complex deformity corrections, alongside robotic and navigated instrumentation. An active researcher, Dr. Alimbuyuguen has presented his work on surgical outcomes and trauma epidemiology at international forums in South Korea and South Africa, and his research is published in the Asian Spine Journal. He previously served as the Emergency Room Chairman and has academic experience as a professor of anatomy and orthopedics.
