Dr. Francisco P. Altarejos is a Filipino orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in degenerative spine and trauma surgery, with affiliations at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Veterans Memorial Medical Center, Lung Center of the Philippines, and the University of Santo Tomas Hospital. He is a former President of both the Philippine Spine Society and the Philippine Orthopaedic Association, Past Chairman of the Philippine Board of Orthopaedics, and presently serves as Vice President of PAMOS (Philippine Academy of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons). A retired military and police orthopedic surgeon with the rank of Brigadier General, he also served as Former Director of the Philippine National Police Health Service. Beyond medicine, Dr. Altarejos is a public servant currently serving as Mayor of San Jacinto, Masbate, where he is recognized for his commitment to healthcare and community development. He remains actively involved in spine education, orthopedic leadership, and national professional initiatives in the Philippines.
