Dr. Jose Joefrey F. Arbatin Jr. is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon in Cebu, Philippines, and currently serves as Head of the Spine Section at Chong Hua Hospital. He specializes in spine surgery, adult reconstruction, joint replacement, and minimally invasive spine procedures, including full-endoscopic lumbar spine surgery and management of vertebral fragility fractures. Dr. Arbatin completed his orthopaedic residency training at the UP–Philippine General Hospital and pursued advanced spine and arthroplasty fellowships in South Korea and Australia, including training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Joint Orthopedic Center in Sydney. He is actively involved in spine and orthopaedic practice through Spine & Orthopaedics Cebu (SOC) and is affiliated with several major hospitals in Cebu. Dr. Arbatin is a Fellow of the Philippine Orthopaedic Association (POA) and the Philippine Spine Society, and is also a member of AO Spine.
