Dr. Hideyuki Arima is a Senior Assistant Professor at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, Japan, specializing in spine surgery. He earned his MD and PhD from Hamamatsu University and completed his orthopedic training in Japan, followed by a research fellowship at the Norton Leatherman Spine Center in the United States. He is a board-certified spine surgeon and instructor under the Japanese Society for Spine Surgery and Related Research (JSSR) and is actively involved in multiple national and international spine societies, including AO Spine and APSS. His research focuses on adult spinal deformity and spinal cord disorders, with over 170 international publications, and he has received several honors, including the AO Spine Fellowship (2018) and multiple best paper awards.
