Dr. David M. Cabatan Jr. is a highly experienced orthopaedic spine surgeon in the Philippines, recognized as one of the pioneers of minimally invasive spine surgery in the country. A graduate of the UP College of Medicine, he completed his orthopaedic residency at the Philippine Orthopedic Center and further spine fellowship training at Hennepin County Medical Center in the United States. With more than three decades of experience in orthopaedics and spine surgery, Dr. Cabatan specializes in minimally invasive spine procedures including lumbar microdiscectomy and Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy (PELD), focusing on faster recovery and reduced surgical morbidity. He is affiliated with major medical institutions including Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Makati Medical Center, Asian Hospital, and the Philippine Orthopedic Institute. Dr. Cabatan is a Fellow of the Philippine Orthopaedic Association (POA) and an active member of the Philippine Spine Society.
