Dr. Adrian B. Catbagan is a highly respected orthopaedic spine surgeon in the Philippines and served as Chairman of the Philippine Board of Orthopaedics (PBO). A recognized leader in spine surgery education and certification, he also headed the initiative to establish the Philippine Board of Spine Surgery. Dr. Catbagan specializes in spine surgery and general orthopaedics, with active clinical and academic roles at the Philippine General Hospital, East Avenue Medical Center, and Asian Hospital and Medical Center. He previously served as Chief of the Spine Section at PGH and currently leads the Spine Section at East Avenue Medical Center. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of the Philippines–Philippine General Hospital and pursued advanced fellowship training in Hong Kong and Paris. Dr. Catbagan is an Associate Professor at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, a Fellow of the Philippine Orthopaedic Association (POA), and an active leader within the Philippine Spine Society.
