Dr. Chih-Wei Chen is an Attending Spine Surgeon in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), Taiwan. He specializes in complex spinal procedures, including degenerative lumbar spine disease, spinal metastasis, vertebral compression fractures, and minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS). His clinical interests also include orthopedic trauma and osteoporosis management. Dr. Chen is actively involved in academic research through the NTU Scholars program, focusing on machine learning applications in spine surgery and novel regenerative therapies for intervertebral disc degeneration. He completed advanced international spine training through the APSS–Depuy Synthes Spine Clinical Fellowship, including fellowship exposure at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, Japan.
