Dr. Chiu Chee Kidd is an Associate Professor at the University of Malaya and a Consultant Spine Surgeon at the University Malaya Specialist Centre. He obtained his MBBS and Master of Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Malaya and completed advanced spine fellowship training under Prof. Kwan Mun Keong, with additional fellowships in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, and Italy. His clinical focus is on thoracic and lumbar spine disorders, particularly deformity and degenerative conditions. Dr. Chiu is an active member of major international spine societies, including APSS, AOSpine, and SRS, and is widely involved in academic work as an invited speaker, peer reviewer, and editorial board member for several international journals, where he has also been recognized as a top reviewer.
