Dr. Gaurav Raj Dhakal, is the Professor of Orthopedics and Consultant Spine Surgeon at Manmohan Memorial Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal. He has served as chapter representative from Nepal in the APSS board and also as member of the basic course subcommittee. Besides clinical work, Dr. Dhakal has published numerous research articles in indexed journals and presented in international conferences. He currently the General Secretary of the Association of Spine Surgeons of Nepal and is actively engaged in organizing spine courses and conferences in Nepal. He is also an AO Spine faculty, associate member of the AO Spine Knowledge Forum Trauma and Infection and Global Spine Diploma faculty and member of the AO Spine Degeneration Curriculum task force member.
