Dr. Dave Anthony G. Dizon is an Associate Professor of the College of Medicine of the University of the Philippines Manila and an attending spine surgeon of the Department of Orthopedics of the Philippine General Hospital, the Philippines' national university hospital in which he was instrumental in setting up its Division of Spine Surgery's Spine Fellowship Program. He earned his medical degree from the UP College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at the PGH Department of Orthopedics. He has fellowships in Bone Transplantation and Joint Revision Surgery at the Queensland Bone Bank and Brisbane Private Hospital in Brisbane, Australia and also in Spine Surgery at the Klinikum Karlsbad-Langensteinbach in Karlsbad-Langensteinbach, Germany under the tutelage of Prof. Dr. med Jürgen Harms. He was a recipient of the AAOS Surgical Skills Scholarship for Spine Surgery and the Kokobun Spine Fellowship. He is an active member of the Philippine Spine Society and AOSpine.
