Dr. Rommel F. Fernando is an experienced orthopaedic spine surgeon in the Philippines with more than 27 years of clinical practice in orthopaedics and spine surgery. He specializes in general orthopaedics and spinal surgery, with expertise in the management of degenerative spine disorders and complex spinal conditions. Dr. Fernando obtained his medical degree from the UP College of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic residency at the Philippine General Hospital, followed by advanced fellowship training in Spine Surgery at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He maintains clinical affiliations with major institutions including Manila Doctors Hospital, St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, San Juan De Dios Hospital, and Ospital ng Muntinlupa. Dr. Fernando is a Fellow of the Philippine Orthopaedic Association (POA) and the Philippine Spine Society (PSS).
