Dr. Luthfi Gatam is an orthopedic spine surgeon and Director of the Orthopaedic and Traumatology Department at Fatmawati General Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia. He completed his medical and orthopedic training at the University of Padjadjaran and the University of Indonesia, and earned his PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Indonesia, with additional spine fellowship training in Indonesia and the United States. A prominent leader in spine surgery, he is a Past President of the Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (IOA-PABOI) and the Pacific and Asian Society of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (PASMISS). He is actively involved in academic teaching across multiple universities and has contributed to numerous clinical research publications in spine surgery.
