Clin. Asst. Prof. Ou Yang Youheng is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at Singapore General Hospital and Director of Education at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Spine Centre. He also holds academic appointments at Duke-NUS Medical School and the National University of Singapore. He completed advanced fellowship training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, UK, with specialization in complex geriatric spine conditions, adult spinal deformity, revision surgery, and metastatic spine disease. His clinical expertise includes degenerative spine disorders, deformity, trauma, infection, and spinal oncology. An award-winning educator and researcher, he has received multiple teaching honors and international research awards, secured competitive research grants, and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. He is actively involved in regional and international spine societies, currently serving as AO Spine Country Chair (Singapore).
