Dr. Satoshi Kato is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Kanazawa University, Japan, specializing in spine surgery. He earned his MD and PhD from Kanazawa University and completed advanced international training, including a research fellowship at Emory University Spine Center, USA, and AO Spine fellowship in Italy. His clinical and research focus includes spinal tumors, complex spinal ligament disorders, and lumbar spine conditions, with particular interest in surgical techniques and functional outcomes. Dr. Kato has authored over 230 scientific publications and is an active member of major international spine societies, including ISSLS and EuroSpine.
