Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan is a Professor of Orthopedic and Spine Surgery at Khyber Girls Medical College, Peshawar, Pakistan, and former Chairman of the Orthopedic Department at Hayatabad Medical Complex. A leading figure in spine surgery in Pakistan, he specializes in minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery, spinal trauma, arthroplasty, deformity correction, and spinal rehabilitation. He obtained his MBBS from Khyber Medical College and completed his FCPS in Orthopedic Surgery, followed by advanced fellowship training in spine surgery and arthroplasty at the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, USA. Prof. Khan is actively involved in regional and international orthopaedic leadership, currently serving as President-Elect of the Society of Spine Surgeons Pakistan and Secretary General of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA). He is also actively engaged in the Asia Pacific Spine Society (APSS) through regional spine education, academic collaboration, and international scientific meetings.
