Prof. Keith Dip Kei Luk is Emeritus Professor and Honorary Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at The University of Hong Kong, and Honorary Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital. An internationally renowned spine surgeon and researcher, he previously held the prestigious Tam Sai Kit Chair Professorship in Spine Surgery at The University of Hong Kong. Prof. Luk obtained advanced orthopaedic qualifications including FRCS (Edinburgh & Glasgow) and MCh Orthopaedics (Liverpool). Widely recognized as a global authority in scoliosis and spinal deformity, he has authored over 435 peer-reviewed publications, contributed numerous book chapters, and filed multiple patents in spine research and innovation. He has received numerous international honors from organizations including SRS, ISSLS, SICOT, AO Spine, and the Global Spine Congress, and is highly regarded for his pioneering work in scoliosis management, skeletal maturity assessment, and intervertebral disc regeneration research.
