Dr. Paul Albert C. Manuel is a Filipino orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS), degenerative spinal disorders, and contemporary spinal reconstruction techniques. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center – Victoriano Luna Medical Center (V. Luna Medical Center), where he developed extensive experience managing complex musculoskeletal and spine conditions, including trauma-related spinal injuries frequently encountered in military and tertiary referral practice. Dr. Manuel subsequently pursued subspecialty training in spine surgery and became actively involved in modern minimally invasive spinal procedures aimed at improving patient recovery and surgical outcomes. He is an active member of the Philippine Spine Society (PSS), where his subspecialty focus is listed under MISS, and is affiliated with several major institutions including Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Mary Mediatrix Medical Center, Unihealth Southwoods Hospital, Calamba Medical Center, Westlake Medical Center, and Victoriano Luna General Hospital–AFP Health Service Command. Recognized for his patient-centered approach and contemporary spine care, Dr. Manuel continues to contribute to the advancement of minimally invasive spine surgery in both civilian and military medical settings in the Philippines.
