Prof. Yukihiro Matsuyama is Professor Emeritus at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine and Director of Jyuzen Memorial Hospital, Japan. He obtained his MD from Hiroshima University and has held major academic leadership roles, including Professor and Chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery and Director of Hamamatsu University Hospital. A globally recognized spine surgeon, he is a Past President of the Japanese Society for Spine Surgery and Related Research (JSSR) and an active member of leading international societies including the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) and AO Spine. His expertise centers on spinal deformity and advanced spine surgery, with numerous prestigious awards including multiple SRS clinical research awards.
