Dr. John Nathaniel M. Ruiz is a spine surgeon at the National University Hospital, Singapore, and an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He obtained his MD from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines, and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has extensive experience in spine surgery, including deformity and biomechanics, and is actively involved in teaching and examination at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Ruiz has contributed to multiple international publications and book chapters and has received recognition for his research, including a Best Deformity Paper Award at the Scoliosis Research Society.
