Dr. Wong Chung Chek is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon at ALTY Orthopaedic Hospital, Malaysia, with over 25 years of experience in spine surgery. He obtained his MBBS and Master of Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Malaya and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He previously served as Senior Orthopaedic Spine Consultant at Sarawak General Hospital and completed spine fellowship training at the University of Hong Kong. A recognized leader in spine surgery, he has held key roles including Chairperson of AO Spine Asia Pacific and Chairman of the Kuching Operative Spine Course (KOSC). His expertise includes spinal deformity, degenerative spine conditions, minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques, and spine infections, with active involvement in international education and research.
