Prof. Wong Hee Kit is an Emeritus Consultant at the National University Spine Institute, National University Health System, and Honorary Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the National University of Singapore. A pioneer in spine surgery, he previously served as Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery and Head of Spine Surgery at the National University Hospital. His expertise includes spinal deformity, scoliosis, minimally invasive �keyhole� spine surgery, and complex reconstructive procedures. An internationally recognized leader, he is a Past President of both the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery (ISASS) and the Asia Pacific Spine Society (APSS), and founding President of the Singapore Spine Society. He has received multiple national honors, including the Distinguished Senior Clinician Award and the Public Administration Medal (Bronze), for his contributions to healthcare and spine surgery.
