Prof. Yat-Wa Wong is an Honorary Clinical Professor at The University of Hong Kong and Honorary Consultant Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital. He obtained his MBBS from The University of Hong Kong and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, with specialist fellowships in orthopaedic surgery. With over three decades of experience, he previously served as Chief of Service and Deputy Hospital Chief Executive at Queen Mary Hospital, where he also led the Division of Spine Surgery. He is the current President of the Asia Pacific Spine Society (APSS) and an internationally recognized leader in spine surgery, with active involvement in major global organizations including the Scoliosis Research Society. Prof. Wong has extensive contributions to research, education, and international spine training, with numerous publications and invited lectures worldwide.
