Lecture Topic: Treatment Strategies in Adjacent Segment Disease After Cervical Spinal Fusion

Dr. Jae Jun Yang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Dongguk University Ilsan Hospital, South Korea. He obtained his MD and PhD from Chung-Ang University and completed advanced spine fellowship training at Seoul National University Hospital. A specialized spine surgeon, his clinical expertise focuses on cervical spine surgery, degenerative spinal disorders, spinal stenosis, disc herniation, spondylolisthesis, and osteoporosis-related spine conditions. Dr. Yang is actively involved in research on advanced spine technologies, including artificial intelligence applications in cervical stenosis detection and the use of 3D-printed titanium cages in spinal fusion surgery. He serves in leadership and committee roles within the Korean Society of Spine Surgery (KSSS), contributes as an editor for the Journal of the Korean Society of Spine Surgery, and is an active faculty member of AO Spine.
