Prof. Shu-Hua Yang is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University, and an Attending Spine Surgeon at National Taiwan University Hospital. He obtained his MD and PhD from National Taiwan University and completed advanced spine training and research fellowships in the United States and Japan, including Johns Hopkins University and the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York. A recognized leader in spine surgery, he is a Past President of the Taiwan Spine Society and serves on the boards of multiple national orthopaedic organizations. His clinical and research interests include spinal disorders, intervertebral disc regeneration, bioactive materials, and tissue engineering. Prof. Yang is a prolific academic with over 80 peer-reviewed publications and active involvement in international editorial and research activities.
