Dr. Takashi Yurube is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan. He obtained his MD and PhD from Kobe University and completed postdoctoral research training at the University of Pittsburgh, USA. His expertise lies in spinal disorders and degenerative disc disease, with a strong focus on basic science research, particularly in autophagy, tissue regeneration, and gene therapy for intervertebral disc pathology. A highly accomplished academic, he has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and delivered numerous international presentations, receiving multiple prestigious research awards. Dr. Yurube also serves on editorial boards of leading spine and orthopedic journals, contributing significantly to global spine research and innovation.
