Prof. Dr. Zamzuri Zakaria @ Mohamad is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon and Professor at the Kulliyyah of Medicine, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Kuantan, Malaysia. He also practices at the IIUM Medical Specialist Centre (IMSC) and previously served as Director of the Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre (SASMEC @IIUM). With over 30 years of experience in orthopaedics and spine surgery, his expertise includes complex spinal disorders, cervical spondylotic myelopathy, degenerative spine disease, and traumatic spinal conditions. Prof. Zamzuri obtained his MD and Master of Orthopaedics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and is registered under the National Specialist Register in Orthopaedic Surgery. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in orthopaedic and spine research, particularly in bone healing and synthetic bone graft applications.
